The Timely Misadventures of a Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering Student

Welcome to 2010. This is the first post on my first blog and I'm neither excited nor full of witty, intelligent things to say. I'm just curious to how long this will last and how long I can keep this up. Plus, I love to write.

I suppose I'll try to keep this space as a place to blog about my trials and tribulations in my newly realized academic career as an Aerospace and Mechanical double major (with a dash of a Physics minor on the side).

Intro:

I'm a 25 year old woman in her first semester of Aerospace and Mechanical engineering at the University at Buffalo. I love space and geishas. If I could combine the two, I would be a space geisha playing the shamisen and doing thermodynamic calculations in zero gravity. I'm also one of the few women in my classes. Case and point, my calculus 2 class has about 30 people (including the ones who don't show up to lecture). I am one of about three women in that class.

It's only going to get better/worse...I'm not sure which.
